1. Improved design - Huawei FreeBuds 4 comes with an improved open-ear design that has a slightly smaller head than the FreeBuds 3. This is designed to fit thousands of ear sizes. It also improved its design to be more comfortable while using. The FreeBuds 4's charging case is also smaller and lighter than its predecessor. It is also IPX4 certified against water splashes.

2. Great audio quality - The FreeBuds 4 features a larger 14.3 mm LCP dynamic driver designed to provide a frequency of up to 40 kHz. Overall, this gives an improved audio quality for music and more. It also has a low latency of 90ms on HarmonyOS 2-powered phones and 150ms on EMUI phones. For the mic, it goes with dual-mode 48 kHz HD sound recording and calls noise cancellation

3. Modern features - The Huawei FreeBuds 4 has up-to-date features such as touch and swipe controls. It also connects via Bluetooth 5.2 with a fast pop-up and pair system. It can also connect two devices at the same time. It also has sensors for wear detection to automatically stop and play music when you take it off.

4. Decent battery life - Each earbud has a 30mAh battery which can last up to 4 hours of continuous playback without ANC and 2.5 hours with it. The charging case having a 410mAh battery can extend the battery life up to 22 hours. It can be charged for 15 minutes to provide 2.5 hours of playback as well.

5. Open-fit  ANC - It also has Open-fit Active Noise Cancellation 2.0 technology.
