TAG Heuer introduced a Super Mario Limited Edition smartwatch
TAG Heuer's new smartwatch features animated Super Mario watch faces, along with gamified fitness animations.

Super Mario animations when you reach various fitness goals
TAG Heuer recently announced that it will soon launch a Wear OS watch with a collaboration with Nintendo. The watch brand has created a Super Mario edition with several watch faces and animations.
The Super Mario wearable is equipped with a 45mm face and weighs 86. It's water-resistant up to 5 ATM and the company claims its 430mAh battery can last a whole day of use.
Users can select from four new themes and watch faces. One of the designs showcases Mario's cap while another takes elements of the game and puts them in a rotating animation.
There's a letter M is engraved on strap buckles and the crown, while the words "TAG Heuer x Super Mario Limited Edition" are written on the back of the watch. There's also two interchangeable straps for the new watch: a black leather band on red rubber and a "sporty alternative in matching red rubber." The travel case is also Super Mario Red.
Aside from onscreen graphics, the smartwatch sports Super Mario touches. There are symbols etched into the bezel that reflect in-game objects. The Super Mario red has push buttons, crown logo, and bezel graduation.
The company makes use of Mario's appearances to encourage wearers to get active and reward them when they move. According to them, the iconic plumber has an upbeat and active personality so wearers will be inspired by seeing his face on their wrists.
Also, TAG Heuer equipped this wearable with a "gamification rewards system". For example, Mario will greet you with a salute as you wake up. You'll get various animations as you hit your steps target, ranging from 25 to 100. In addition to this, there are animations with usual items from Mario universe such as Super Mushroom, Pipe, Super Star, and Goal Pole.

This Super Mario-themed smartwatch is available starting tomorrow July 15, 2021, in selected stores and regions. Tag Heuer is only making 2,000 of these watches.
