DITO now has 2 million subscribers nationwide, now available in 200 cities
On Facebook, the Philippines' 3rd telco DITO announced that the company has breached the 2 million subscriber mark.

DITO now has 2 million subscribers nationwide!
This new milestone happened almost 2 months after hitting the 1 million subscriber mark, less than 5 months following its official launch in March.
On its post, DITO shared,
We are proud to announce that in less than 5 months after our official launch, we have just reached 2 million subscribers, covering around 200 cities nationwide!Thank you for being a part of this incredible milestone. We’re just getting started. We can’t wait to serve millions more in the months to come!
DITO also extended its promos until September 30, 2021, like the DITO 99 with 10GB data, unlimited calls, unlimited SMS as well as the DITO 199 with 25GB data valid for 30 days.
DITO also noted that its mobile services are now available in around 200 cities nationwide.
Back in early July, DITO expanded its services to 17 more areas. In mid-July, the firm expanded to 18 more areas.
To recap, the telco promised to provide 27 megabits per second of speed, covering 37 percent of the Philippine population in its first year.
In March, the telco said that the mobile number portability law implementation would help the company achieve this goal. The number portability act will be implemented on September 30, 2021.
Based on the technical audit by R.G. Manabat & Co, the telco is currently capable of serving 37.48 percent of the country’s population.
