As a quick recap, the 42-year-old fighting senator from the Philippines Manny Pacquiao is looking to reclaim his WBA Super Welterweight crown Cuban Yordenis Ugás tomorrow August 22, 2021.

The "PacMan" is originally scheduled to fight WBC and IBF unified welterweight champ Errol Spence Jr. for the two belts including the "The Ring" championship crown. Spence had to withdraw from the fight due to an eye injury.

Pacquiao last won the WBA (Super) welterweight title against American Keith Thurman in 2019 making him the oldest welterweight champion in the history of the sport.

However, due to inactivity, the fighting senator was stripped of his title. Former WBA (Regular) champ Ugas, was promoted as the (Super) champion instead.

Ugas is the replacement of Spence.
