Huawei MateView to work with Mac devices from 2018 onwards
Huawei MateView monitors will be able to support Apple Mac devices from 2018 onwards. Included in the supported devices are models of MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, Mac Mini, iMac, and iPad Pro. This is made possible by MateView's USB-C connectivity. This also makes it easier for Apple users to consider the Huawei MateView as a display option.
As a recap, MateView is a professional-grade desktop monitor with a 28.2-inch display panel, 3840 x 2560 native resolution, 3:2 aspect ratio, and slim bezels for a 94 percent screen-to-body ratio for more screen space.
This monitor also has 98 percent DCI-P3 color gamut, Delta<2 color accuracy, 10-bit color support, and HDR. For audio, it has dual 5W speakers that are independently DSP calibrated. It also has dual-microphones with a 4-meter far-field voice pickup.
The Huawei MateView boasts several intelligent functions such as OneHop Projection and wireless Desktop Projection. Basically, it enables a wireless connection for instant collaboration among devices, allowing for more effective multi-device operation as well.
Unlike traditional monitors that come with a unique on-screen display settings menu. This is hidden via a Smart Bar that offers a user-friendly touch interface for users to easily adjust various display settings, such as input source and volume. It also has a USB-C port that can provide up to 65W of power.
