As a recap, the Huawei MateView is a 28.2-inch desktop monitor with a 3:2 aspect ratio, 3,840 x 2,560 resolution, Delta E <1 color accuracy in sRGB mode, and Delta E <2 in DCI-P3 mode. It also has VESA DisplayHDR 400 support, 98 percent DCI-P3 color gamut, and 100 percent sRGB color gamut. The HUAWEI MateView has received TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light and Flicker-Free certifications. It features a futuristic design with slim bezels to provide a 94 percent screen-to-body ratio.
It also supports smartphone OneHop Projection. It has 2 x USB-C ports, 2 x USB-A ports, one HDMI port, one Mini DisplayPort, and a 3.5mm audio jack. Mice and keyboards connected to MateView can be used as input and navigation peripherals for connected devices such as notebooks and smartphones, allowing users to flexibly switch between multiple devices without having to re-plug all their peripherals. All you need to do is plug a new device into the Huawei MateView via the USB-C port.
It is also the first standalone monitor compatible with Mac Devices launched from 2018 onwards. This includes MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, Mac Mini, iMac, and iPad Pro. In terms of audio, it has two front-firing speakers and dual microphones.
