OPPO will continue to improve the smartphone-vehicle connectivity ecosystem

The Smart China Expo 2021 features the "Smart Technology: Empowering Economy, Enriching Life", which is held from August 23 and will end on August 26. OPPO presented its new MagVOOC flash charging series, in-car connectivity, and others. Its Vice President and President of Smartphone Product Henry Duan said,

OPPO is steadily accomplishing our strategic deployment in the field of IoT and broader areas concerning the Internet of Experience, aiming to empower customers in a variety of scenarios. With the new magnetic flash charging and in-car connectivity technologies, we are doing our best to enhance customer experiences in every aspect.

According to the tech giant, it was able to achieve in-car smartphone connectivity capabilities such as digital car key,  remote vehicle control on OPPO Find X3, remote vehicle control on OPPO Watch 2, and in-car flash charge.

OPPO notes that the digital car key enables users to simply use their OPPO devices to unlock their car via Bluetooth. A mobile network is not necessary so it is convenient for day-to-day activities.

Meanwhile, the remote vehicle control on OPPO Find X3 or OPPO Watch 2 allows powering up the air conditioning by using an app. It can also be used to help car owners to find their vehicles by sounding the horn even from afar.

Aside from these, OPPO said that its new advanced in-car flash charge supports 65W VOOC USB flash charge and 40W VOOC wireless flash charge while driving.

To explore new possibilities, the brand said that it's open to partnerships across industries. In fact, it has already collaborated with a lot of popular vehicle companies like NIO, BYD Auto, and Geely.
