realme narzo 50A and narzo 50i with 6.5-inch displays and big batteries now official in India

realme launched the new narzo 50 series in India yesterday, September 24 alongside a new fitness band and Smart TV.

Huge displays and batteries!

First off, the realme narzo 50A. This is the more premium model of the two. It sports a 6.5-inch HD+ display, waterdrop-style notch, and 88.7 percent screen-to-body ratio.

Inside is the MediaTek Helio G85 SoC, ARM Mali-G52 GPU, 4GB RAM, and 128GB internal storage expandable up to 256GB using a dedicated microSD card slot. 

For cameras, it features a triple rear camera setup with f/1.8 50MP main camera, f/2.4 black and white portrait lens, and f/2.4 2MP macro lens. realme narzo 50A's camera features include super nightscape, night filters, beauty mode, HDR, panoramic view, portrait mode, timelapse, slow motion, and expert mode. It has an f/2.0 8MP selfie camera in front.

It packs a BIG 6,000mAh battery paired with 18W fast charging support which claims to offer 53 days standby, 48 hours calls, 111 hours of Spotify, 27 hours of YouTube, and 8 hours of gaming. 

Other features include USB-C dual-band WiFi 802.11ac, GPS, Bluetooth 5.0, and dual-SIM slots.

On the other hand, the realme narzo 50i also features a 6.5-inch display with an 89.5 screen-to-body ratio. It is powered by a UNISOC 9863 SoC, IMG 8322 GPU, up to 4GB RAM, and a choice of 32GB or 64GB internal storage expandable up to 256GB via microSD card slot.

It sports an 8MP primary camera and a 5MP AI selfie camera. The narzo 50i packs a 5,000mAh battery and realme claim it has 43 days of standby time. It also has a Super Power Saving Mode for battery optimization when needed. 

Other features include a 3.5mm audio jack, micro USB, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, and Bluetooth 4.2.

realme narzo 50A is available in Oxygen Blue and Oxygen Green colors. Meanwhile, the realme narzo 50i has launched in Mint Green and Carbon Black variants.
