Two more M-series smartphones?

Our friends from Revu recently reported that they spotted the Samsung Galaxy M52 5G listing on the Samsung website. They also found that the support page listing of the SM-M225FV/DS or Samsung Galaxy M22 recently went live. The Samsung Galaxy M22 was recently added to the list of devices compatible with DITO Telecommunity's network to add credence to the support page listing. It can be found in the Samsung Galaxy series next to the Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G.

To recap, the Samsung Galaxy M22 was originally launched in Germany late last September 2021. It features a large 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a 1600 x 720 resolution. Inside is the 12nm MediaTek Helio G80 octa-core processor and Mali-G52 GPU, 4GB RAM, 128GB of storage, and 5,000mAh battery with 25W Adaptive Fast Charging via USB-C.

At the back is a triple rear camera setup made up of a 48MP f/2.0 main camera, 8MP f/2.2 ultra-wide camera, 2MP f/2.4 macro, 2MP f/2.4 depth sensor, and an LED flash while in front s a 13MP f/2.2 selfie camera. 

The body of the M22 measures 159.9 x 74 x 8.4 mm and weighs 186 grams. 

While the Samsung Galaxy M52 5G was launched in September in India. It features a large 6.7-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-O display with a 120Hz refresh rate, Corning Gorilla Glass protection, and a 2400 x 1080 resolution. Inside is the 6nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G octa-core processor, Adreno 642L GPU, 6GB/8GB LPDDR4X RAM, 128GB UFS 2.1, and 5000mAh battery with 25W Adaptive Fast Charging via USB-C. 

At the back of the M52 5G is a 64MP f/1.8 main camera, 12MP f/2.2 ultra-wide camera, 5MP f/2.4 macro camera with LED flash while in front is a 32MP f/2.2 selfie camera. It supports NFC, Dolby Atmos, and Samsung Pay.

Other features of both phones include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and a microSD card slot.

In India, the Samsung Galaxy M52 5G starts at INR 29,999 (or around PHP 20K) while the Galaxy M22 has yet to be priced internationally.

There is no word yet on Philippine pricing and availability of both the M22 and M52 5G.
