Ahead of its scheduled 12:00 PM JST (11:00 AM PHT), legit-looking images and details about Sony's upcoming flagship have surfaced online.
The end-game vlogging camera phone?

The upcoming vlogging camera phone to beat?

The device could be called the Xperia PRO-I and it will be a camera-centric smartphone similar to most of its high-end offerings. If this leak is accurate, the device will feature a massive 1-inch Sony sensor with ZEISS T* lens while keeping the phone design slim and sleek-looking.

While it is rare, 1-inch big sensor sizes on phones are not new on smartphones. Earlier this year, Sony's Japanese rival Sharp released the Aquos R6 with a 1-inch sensor size in collaboration with Leica.

But, this is not an ordinary 1-inch sensor. It has a variable aperture that can switch between f/2.0 and f/4.0 when needed. This feature is also not new, but we have not seen it since the Galaxy Note 10 in 2019. AND, this time, it is using a larger image sensor that would likely take much better images than a lot of 2021 smartphones.

Apart from the main sensor, it will come with two more cameras with unspecified functions yet.

The other thing that makes this a highly exciting smartphone is it'll have support for several Sony accessories that could make your vlogging and content creation experience better and easier.

It includes a vlog monitor, microphone, and a handle/controls similar to what the Sony ZV-E10 has.

Don't expect this to be cheap though.

Interesting. We will update you guys later once it is official.
