Motorola Edge X30 with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 announced, Special Edition comes with 60MP under-display selfie camera
Motorola earlier launched the Edge X30, the first smartphone in the world powered by the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip.

First with SD8G1
As mentioned, it is equipped with Qualcomm's new Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip. It is a 4nm-based processor boasting up to 3.0GHz clock speed and a Cortex-X2 prime core. Motorola is boasting a 20 percent increase in CPU, 30 percent better GPU, and 400 percent improvement in AI versus the older SD888+ chip.

In front, the handset is using a 6.7-inch 10-bit OLED screen with a 144Hz refresh rate, 1080p+ resolution, DCI-P3, and 1024 nits brightness. The regular Motorola Edge X30 has a punch-hole for the 60MP 1/2.8-inch sensor with 1.2μm pixels while the Special Edition has no holes with the same under-display 60MP selfie camera for a true all-screen experience.

The rest of the specs include up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM, up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage, 5,000mAh battery with USB-C 68W fast charging (35 minutes full charge), 50MP + 50MP + 2MP triple-cam, and stereo speakers.
To keep the phone "cool", it has a 7-way thermal sensor cooling system.
