Xiaomi unveils MIUI 13 and the supported devices will receive it

Xiaomi unveiled their latest MIUI 13, read on to see the newest features and the list of devices that will first receive it.

Xiaomi's latest UI unveiled!

The company mentioned that they focused on improving core functions which received a huge jump of 52 percent increase in terms of overall fluidity. They also said that it boosts their self-developed Focused Algorithms, Atomized Memory and Liquid Storage while the new system focuses on improving computing capabilities for core apps during heavy usage.

The features

The Chinese tech giant also says that MIUI 13 prevents and minimizes degrading of read-write capabilities by 5 percent over a 36-month period using Atomized Memory and Liquid Storage technologies, thus extending the device's longevity.

The Mi Smart Hub beta

The company's next-gen UI also brings Mi Smart Hub beta, which will provide a seamless connection between smart devices. Users may utilize Mi Smart Hub to locate nearby devices and share and access content such as music, video, and apps across many devices with a single motion.

The widgets

Apart from connection features, MIUI 13 includes other standouts for further customizing, such as new widgets, new dynamic wallpapers, face verification protection in which only the face is taken rather than the entire upper body. It also includes document watermarking, telecommunication fraud protection, and the new MiSans font.

Other devices supported

In addition to mobile phones, MIUI 13 for tablets will include more apps, various free windows, and physical keyboard shortcut keys. Meanwhile, Xiaomi also released MIUI for the watch, home, TV, and other smart devices.

They also shared the list of devices that will receive the latest UI.
