Chuwi HiPad Pro 2022 launched with 2.5K screen, Helio G95

Chuwi has launched the HiPad Pro 2022, a new tablet that comes with a better screen and faster chipset.

Previously there was a HiPad Pro launched back in July 2021 but has the slower Snapdragon 662 and only 1080p display.

Display features

Now the revamped tablet comes with a sleek-looking body with a metal frame. It is only 7.5mm thin and weighs 455 grams. It still has the same 10.8-inch IPS panel but with an improved resolution of 2560x1600 at 288 PPI. The screen also has a 90 percent screen-to-body ratio and covers 97 percent DCI-P3 color gamut.

The tablet's processor

At the helm, it now uses a faster chip which is the 12nm 2.05GHz MediaTek Helio G95 with Mali G76 GPU. It is then paired with 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB UFS 2.1 internal storage.

Meanwhile, its battery has a large 7,000mAh to keep up with the higher resolution big screen.

As for the camera, the brand included an 8MP sensor at the rear and a 5MP for its selfie camera.

For connectivity, it has 4G, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, MicroSD slot, and USB-C 3.0 port.

Widevine L1 certified

The tablet's OS will be Android 11 and will come with Google's official Widevine L1 digital certification for the renowned streaming apps such as Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and Disney+.

Interested buyers may order the tablet on Chuwi's official AliExpress store. There's no word yet if it will arrive in the Philippines.
