Successor to the Y20A?

In January 2021, vivo launched the Y20A. A year later, the company launches the successor to it called the vivo Y21A.

The new smartphone features a large 6.51-inch LCD display with an 89 percent screen-to-body ratio, 20:9 aspect ratio, and 1600 x 720 resolution. Inside is the MediaTek Helio P22 SoC, 4GB+1GB Extended RAM, 64GB of storage, and 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging via USB-C.

At the back are a 13MP f/2.2 main camera and a 2MP f/2.4 secondary macro camera with an LED flash while on the notch in front is an 8MP f/2.0 selfie camera.

Other features include Bluetooth 5.0, Dual-Nano + SD card tray, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

The phone measures 164.26 x 76.08 x 8mm and weighs 182 grams. It will come in either Diamond Glow or Midnight Blue colorways.

As of the time of this article's writing, there is no information on Indian pricing and availability.

There is also no word yet on International or Philippine pricing and availability.
