Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 (New) with 10.5-inch screen arrives in PH, starts at PHP 13,990

Samsung Mobile Philippines today launched the newest version of the Galaxy Tab A8 in the county.

Samsung has a new "affordable" tablet for entertainment and productivity in the Philippines!

The device promises to deliver an entertaining and productive experience at the same time with split-screen mode allowing users to use two apps at the same time or even view a presentation while taking notes at once. 

Key specs and features of Galaxy Tab A8

For specs, the device is packed with a large 10.5-inch TFT display with WUXGA 1920 x 1200 resolution with 80 percent screen-to-body ratio, a 2.0GHz octa-core processor (likely the 12nm UNISOC T618 chip with Mali-G52 GPU similar to the Galaxy A8 launched in Europe recently), 4GB RAM, up to 128GB expandable storage, and a 7,040mAh battery with USB-C 15W fast charging technology.

Weirdly, the 15W Adaptive Fast Charger is sold separately.

For cameras, the device used an 8MP snapper at the back with AF and a 5MP shooter for selfies that you can also use for face unlocking.

The device also has WiFi, optional 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.0,  4x speakers, Dolby Atmos, Samsung Knox, and Android 11 OS with One UI 3.1 skin on top.
