South Korean tech firm Samsung recently launched a new mid-range tablet called Galaxy Tab A8.

This is Samsung's newest mid-range tab with UNISOC inside

The new Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 is featuring a sleek back design in Gray, Silver, and Pink Gold colors, a 10.5-inch TFT display with WUXGA 2000 x 1200 resolution, 2.0GHz 12nm UNISOC T618 octa-core processor with Mali-G52 GPU, 3GB/4GB RAM, 32GB/64GB/128GB expandable internal storage up to 1TB via microSD card slot, and 7,040mAh battery capacity with USB-C 15W Adaptive Fast Charging.

For cameras, it uses an 8MP back camera with autofocus and a 5MP snapper that you can use for video calling. The device also has 4x stereo speakers, Dolby Atmos audio, WiFi 802.11ac (2.4GHz/5GHz), optional 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5 LE, GPS, GLONASS, and a SIM card slot.

It runs with Android 11 OS out of the box. The device measures 246.8 x 161.9 x 6.9 mm and weighs 508 grams.

The device will be available in Europe first this month and in the US in January 2022. There is no info if it'll be available in the Philippines yet.
