Affordable TCL phone in EU?

A few days ago, TCL launched the TCL 30 V 5G in the United States. Today, the company launches the low-cost TCL 305 in Europe.

The new smartphone features a large 6.52-inch HD+ LCD display with a 20:9 aspect ratio, 450 nit peak brightness and an 89.11 percent screen-to-body ratio. On top of the display is the notch that houses the 5MP selfie camera.

Inside is the MediaTek Helio A22 chipset, 2GB LPDDR4X RAM, 64GB of storage, microSD card slot and a large 5,000mAh battery that charges via the USB-C port.

At the back are a 13MP main camera and a 2MP macro camera with an LED flash. Below the cameras are the rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. The phone supports face unlock.

Other features include dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth and a 3.5mm audio jack.

Running the show is Android 11 (Go Edition) and it will come in either Space Gray or Atlantic Blue colorways.

There is no word yet on when it will be available for purchase in Europe nor is there information on when it will be available in international markets like the Philippines.
