Motorola Edge X30 Pro with SD8G1 now official!

Motorola launched the vanilla Edge X30 back in December 2021 in China, this time they unveiled the Edge X30 Pro in India.

Despite the moniker of the "Pro", it is just the global version of the Edge X30 as the specs are just the same. Although the noticeable differences are a bit lower battery and single storage options.

The phone's features

Upfront, this smartphone is using a 6.7-inch FHD+ OLED screen with a 144Hz high refresh rate, 574Hz touch sampling rate, 10-bit color screen with DCI-P3 color space, and HDR10+ support. It even has stylus support for jotting down notes and more.

At the helm, it is equipped with the high-end 3.0GHz 4nm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, paired with 8GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB UFS 3.1 storage.

It also has a 4,800mAh battery capacity which can be charged using a USB-C cable and 68W TurboPower fast charging as well as via wireless charger with 15W. Also, this handset is capable of 5W reverse power share.

Moving to the cameras, it has a 50MP primary sensor, 50MP ultrawide-angle lens with a macro option, and another 2MP for depth shooting. As for the front-facing shooter, it has a 60MP camera.

Other features are a side-mounted fingerprint reader and Stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support.

For connectivity, it has 5G, Dual 4G, Bluetooth 5.2, dual-band WiFi 6E, GPS, NFC, and USB-C. As for the OS, it runs Android 12 with MyUX skin on top.
