Apple releases iPhone SE 2022 with Apple A15 chip for less, price starts at PHP 28,990!

While you were probably sleeping earlier, American tech giant Apple released a wide array of products from tablets to monitors. One of them is the new iPhone SE.

iPhone SE 2022 is official!

Unofficially dubbed as the iPhone SE 2022 (Apple is just calling it iPhone SE), the new handset features the same design coming from its 2020 version with IP67 water and dust resistance in Starlight, Midnight, and  (Product)Red colors.

The display is also similar as it is using a 4.7-inch Retina display with HD+ resolution with wide color display (P3), Haptic Touch, and 650 nits max brightness, oleophobic coating. It also has the classic circular fingerprint scanner/home button at the bottom of the display dubbed Touch ID.

What's new and more interesting here is its use of a new 3.23GHz 5nm Apple A15 Bionic hexa-core processor with a 4‑core. This new-generation chip is the same one found iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini smartphones. Only the iPhone 13 Pro series with a 5-core GPU are slightly faster. Of course, this has 5G.

Apple also added the 20W fast charging support via a lightning cable that can charge the device to 50 percent in just 30 minutes.

For cameras, it uses a 12MP f/1.8 main shooter with Focus Pixels, EIS + LED True Tone flash with Slow Sync. Apple added the Smart HDR 4, Deep Fusion, Photographic Styles, and an improved Portrait mode to further improve its cameras. In case you are wondering, it supports 4K video recording as well.

The device loads with iOS 15 out of the box.

On paper, this could be the iPhone for those who are on a tight
