Build Quality/Design
Back design |
The realme GT 2 Pro is made of a Gorilla Glass-protected front, metal frame, and a polycarbonate back panel. This rear panel comes with a unique pattern and texture that makes the phone less slippery and less prone to fingerprint smudges.
The back curves to make the phone easy to hold. The phone is eye-catching and unique and like the previous generation is designed by legendary Japanese designer Naoto Fukusawa.
Because of the combination of glass, metal, and polycarbonate, the phone is surprisingly lightweight despite its size.
SIM tray |
The phone may feature water and dust resistance as the SIM tray has a yellow rubber gasket. It will arrive in either Forge Black, Titanium Blue, or the Master Edition.
Display |
In the front, you will see the 6.7-inch AMOLED LTPO display with a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 3216 x 1440 resolution. The panel is Gorilla Glass Victus protected.
Around the panel are super-slim bezels that make the display even more immersive. On the top-left corner is the punch hole that houses the selfie camera. On top of the upper bezel is a super slim slit that houses the earpiece.

On top are antenna lines and a microphone port while at the bottom is the SIM tray, microphone, USB-C port, and speaker grills.
The earpiece and the bottom-firing speaker produce stereo audio.

First Camera Samples
Rear 1x daylight |
Rear 2x daylight |
Rear 10x daylight |
Rear ultra-wide daylight |
As expected, the daylight images are stunning. It managed to reproduce the sunny summer conditions of the day of the shoot while retaining plenty of detail and sharpness. The color pops and the dynamic range is deep. |
Daylight selfie |
Portrait Selfie |
For selfies, the 32MP sensor teams struggle with light sources or bright areas as in both selfies, the blue skies were turned to white. Otherwise, the image is super sharp with plenty of detail and vibrant color.
For videos, the rear camera can capture up to 8K in quality while the selfie camera can capture up to 1080p only.
