Netflix recently dropped the official trailer for its Tekken anime debut—Tekken: Bloodline.

A new Tekken anime series i coming!

To those who missed it, Tekken is a massively Japanese popular video game franchise by Bandai Namco. It is a fighting game that focuses on hand-to-hand combat and is one of the first fighting games to use 3D animation.

Tekken had a live action movie in 2010. They also had the Tekken: The Motion Picture movie in 1998. But this time, it'll be in a form of a full anime series based on Jin Kazama's story.

Netflix's description reads,

"Power is everything." Jin Kazama learned the family self-defense arts, Kazama-Style Traditional Martial Arts, from his mother at an early age. Even so, he was powerless when a monstrous evil suddenly appeared, destroying everything dear to him, changing his life forever. Angry at himself for being unable to stop it, Jin vowed revenge and sought absolute power to exact it. His quest will lead to the ultimate battle on a global stage—The King of Iron Fist Tournament.

Other than that, Netflix has yet to revel when will the new series be available on its platform and other details about it.
