vivo Y01 with Android 11 (Go edition) now official!

vivo launched another budget smartphone that will join the Y series called the Y01 with Android 11 (Go edition).

A new budget smartphone from vivo!

The smartphone's rear cover comes with a striped texture finish made of plastic. It has two colorways of either Elegant Black or Sapphire Blue. While at the front it has a 6.51-inch IPS LCD screen with HD+ 1600 x 720 resolution. At the top of the screen, you will find a dewdrop notch that houses the 5MP camera.

At the helm, the device uses MediaTek 2.3GHz 12nm Helio P35 octa-core processor with PowerVR GE8320 with a clock speed of 680MHz. It is paired with either 2GB or 3GB RAM and comes with 32GB of internal memory. It also has a dedicated microSD card slot which can be expanded by up to 1TB.

Meanwhile, the vivo Y01 is also equipped with a large 5,000mAh battery capacity and can be charged using a 10W power adaptor.

For the camera, it has a single 13MP f/2.0 shooter and an LED flash.

Other features are a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and Face Unlock for the security of the phone.

For connectivity, it has dual-band WiFi, 4G, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, OTG, Dual SIM, and a micro USB slot.

As for the OS, it runs Android 11 (Go edition) with Funtouch OS 11.1 on top.

However, despite the launch, the details for the price are still unknown. But, given that it's only using entry-level hardware we can assume that it will be affordable.
