Qualcomm teams up with ESL Gaming to announce the Snapdragon Pro series. These are not gaming SoCs though. These are mobile Esports tourneys.

Snapdragon Pro series mobile Esports competition now official

With events in North America, Europe, the Middle East, China, North Africa, and Asia-Pacific, the Snapdragon Pro Series will be a worldwide mobile Esports competition ecosystem. Snapdragon Pro Series will kick out a worldwide, multi-genre mobile esports championship that will culminate in an epic live Masters final.

To ensure a bleeding-edge gaming experience, this Snapdragon Pro event is set to use premium-tier Snapdragon-powered devices that are packed with Snapdragon Elite Gaming technology. Snapdragon Elite Gaming includes features such as advanced game optimizations, ultra-realistic graphics, fast connectivity, and performance speeds. It will enable competitors to game at peak condition at all times.

The Snapdragon Pro Series redefines the mobile Esports scene with its worldwide reach and three stages of the competition namely Open, Challenge, and Masters, offering players from all areas a chance to become champions and fight for a part of an estimated USD 2 million in prize money.
