Cherry Mobile will launch its very-first 5G-ready smartphone on April 29!
Local tech giant CHERRY has recently sent invites to the press for the launch of its upcoming smartphone on April 29, 2022, at 2 PM. Based on the teaser, it will be the company's very-first 5G-capable smartphone.

Based on its teaser, the handset will feature a screen with a tall aspect ratio, a top-center punch-hole for its selfie camera, and an In-Display fingerprint scanner on its lower portion. If it really has an In-Display fingerprint reader, the panel that Cherry Mobile will use is likely an AMOLED-type.
Other than stating that it will be a 5G-ready smartphone, Cherry Mobile has yet to provide other details about the device.
For the chip, we suspect that the device will carry a Dimensity 5G series processor from Taiwanese giant MediaTek. MediaTek confirmed this to the press including team GIZGUIDE in a virtual Media gathering last 2020.
