OPPO A96 with SD680 and 50MP main camera coming to PH in May 5

In a Lazada listing, it was revealed that the OPPO A96 is coming to the Philippines on May 5. It features the Snapdragon 680 and a 5MP main camera.

The OPPO A96 features a modern design with curved corners and a rectangular camera island with a dual-camera setup. It features a 6.59-inch LTPS display with 2412 x 1080 FHD+ resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, 180Hz touch sampling rate, and 401 ppi pixel density.

Inside, it features the 6nm 2.4GHz Snapdragon 680 octa-core processor, Adreno 610 GPU, 8GB LPDDR4X RAM with 5GB RAM expansion, 256GB UFS 2.2 expandable storage, and a 5,000mAh battery with 33W SuperVOOC charging.

For cameras, it has a 50MP f/1.8 main camera + 2MP f/2.4 depth camera with LED flash. It also has a 16MP f/2.0 selfie camera.

It also features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BDS, QZSS, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and USB-C.

The OPPO A96 will be available in Starry Black ad Pearl Pink. It will start to be available on May 5 but will have an official local launch on May 4. The price is yet to be revealed.
