vivo T1X 4G announced with SD680 and 90Hz display

vivo launched the T1X 5G last October 2021, this time they revealed a 4G variant with a 6nm Snapdragon 6 series chipset in Malaysia.

A 4G version announced!

The new smartphone looks different from its older variant as it now uses a dewdrop notch display design. On the back, while it still carries the same Blue and Black color options, the edges look more flat compared to the curved edges of the 5G variant.

It has a smaller 6.58-inch IPS LCD panel with 1080 x 2408 FHD+ resolution and the refresh rate is down to 90Hz.

Inside, it is powered by a 6nm 2.4GHz Snapdragon 680 octa-core processor with Adreno 610 GPU. It is coupled with two RAM options of either 4GB or 6GB followed by single 128GB internal storage.

The smartphone is using 5,000mAh battery capacity and can be charged using 18W power brick.

For cameras, it is equipped with 50MP primary and 2MP shooters for both macro and depth. It is using 8MP for the front-facing camera.

Other features mentioned are a side-mounted fingerprint reader and face unlock for security.

Connectivity-wise it has WiFi, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.0, dual SIM support, GPS, USB-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Malaysia price with direct to PHP conversion (no taxes and duties yet):

vivo T1X 4G 4GB/128GB - MYR 699 (around PHP 8.3K)
vivo T1X 4G 6GB/128GB - MYR 899 (around PHP 10.8K)

The handset is now official in Malaysia and is available in Gravity Black or Space Blue colorways. No word yet if it will arrive in the Philippines though so stay tuned.
