After appearing in a local brochure a few days back, Xiaomi today made the Redmi 10C budget phone now official in the Philippines.

To recap, the Redmi 10C is the company's newest affordable smartphone featuring a curved polycarbonate back design with a large yet stylish-looking camera island at the back available in gradient-like Graphite Gray, Ocean Mint, and Mint Green colors.

Highlights of Redmi 10C

In front, it uses a massive 6.71-inch Gorilla Glass protected LCD (IPS) screen with HD+ 1650 x 720 resolution at 268 ppi and a notch housing the 5MP selfie camera. The company is also boasting that it has the Widevine L1 certification which will allow apps like Netflix and Amazon Prime Video to stream HD content.

For specs, it is strong for the price as well. The device is boasting the 2.4GHz 6nm Snapdragon 680 octa-core processor with Adreno 610 GPU, 4GB LPDDR4X RAM, 64GB/128GB UFS 2.2 expandable storage via microSD card up to 1TB, and a large 5,000mAh battery with USB-C 18W fast charging.

Completing its set of features, the device also has a large 50MP f/1.8 main camera, 2MP f/2.4 secondary depth helper, 3.5mm headphone jack, an improved single speaker that is said to be 40 percent louder than the previous generation, dual-band WiFi, 4G LTE, and Android 11 OS with MIUI 13 skin.
