Unveiled in China in December 2021, the Huawei Watch D just made it into the global scene under the Care series. To recall, this one allegedly has an aviation-grade aluminum so it has better durability and scratch resistance.

In front, the smartwatch got a 1.64-inch display with HD resolution and 326 ppi retina-level clarity.

According to the company, it weighs just 1/6 of a traditional blood pressure meter. Allegedly,  Watch D has been granted IP68 water and dust resistance and has been granted a Class II medical device by the Drug Administration of China.

The most important and unique feature is Blood Pressure and ECG monitoring. It is equipped with a micropump with a size equal to a dime while having a compression capability of 40kPa. This allows for 40mmHg to 230mmHg blood pressure measurement.

For ECG Analysis, it can perform recording 30-second ECG signals, atrial fibrillation detection, and premature beats detection. This wearable can also monitor the usual health metrics like steps and heart rate.

Aside from that, it has personalized blood pressure management that includes medication reminders, breathing, sleep, activity, and others.

Huawei claims that the watch has a 7-day battery life and it can be charged wirelessly. The Watch D comes in two colorways: Classic Black and Elegant Titanium.

Meanwhile, the tech giant also unveiled a new interesting device that can serve as a companion to Huawei watches.
