1st Gold medal for the Esports team!

The Filipina representatives looked dominant during the group stages after finishing an undefeated record of 4-0. However, as they reached the semifinals, the team faced its first defeat after being outplayed by the Thais.

Luckily this is a best of 3 games and our Filipina players were able to secure the succeeding matches and even managed to get an early pentakill from Charlize "Yugen" Doble. With this win, the Sibol is already guaranteed at least a Silver medal and gets the chance for the gold medal match.

On the day of the Finals, the Philippines gets to face the neighboring country Singapore and sweeps them with a 3-0.

The Philippines managed to get a commanding win on Game 1 with a score of 16-9 and ended it under 15 minutes only.

In-game 2, the Singaporeans attacked ferociously in the early game, but the Sibol team was able to defend properly, secured objectives eventually took the game with a 17-8 win.

Moving to the 3rd and final game, the Singaporeans tried to rally back by taking the lead against the Philippines with a score of 13-6.

But that went wrong too for the Singaporeans as they only prioritized kills while our Filipina gamers stayed composed and aimed for objectives giving them a comeback of 27-21 snatching the gold medal for our country.

The members of the team are Christine Natividad, Rose Ann Robles, Charize Doble, Giana Llanes, April Sotto and Angel Lozada.

Meanwhile, there's more to watch as our representatives for PUBG and MLBB will also be competing in the next few days.

What do you guys think?
