What will the new OPPO clam-shell flip phone look like?

According to rumors, the next OPPO foldable smartphone will be a vertical flip-style device like the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip3 and the Huawei P50 Pocket. The main difference between these and the OPPO clam-shell smartphone will be its more affordable price point. It is rumored to be slated for around a CNY 5,000 SRP or around PHP 40K in straight conversion.

To compare, the Huawei P50 Pocket starts at PHP 69,999 while the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip3 starts at PHP 52,990. If the rumors are true, then the new OPPO foldable phone will be at least around PHP 13K more affordable.

We're glad Oppo is looking to provide more affordable foldable devices. In any case, the Oppo flip smartphone is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ SoC.
