Sony Xperia 10 IV with SD695 and IP68 rating launched!

Alongside the new Xperia 1 IV, Sony also announced the new Xperia 10 IV with the Snapdragon 695 and Android 12.

A new Sony mid-ranger with 5G?

Sony has just launched the Sony Xperia 1 IV. Its latest flagship smartphone. Alongside it, the Japanese tech giant also announced the new Xperia 10 IV. 

In front of the Xperia 10 IV are a 6.0-inch OLED display with an FHD+ resolution and a 21:9 aspect ratio. Sony says this display is 50 percent brighter than the previous model while being Gorilla Glass Victus protected.

Inside is the 6nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G chipset, 6GB RAM, 128GB of storage and a 5,000mAh battery with 30W fast charging. It is running on Android 12 out of the box. The body is IP 68 water and dust resistance rated.

Other features include a 3.5mm audio jack, LDAC support, 360 Audio and 360 Reality Audio Upmix support.

At the back of the phone is a 12MP primary camera, 8MP ultra-wide camera and an 8MP 2x telephoto camera while in front is an 8MP selfie shooter.

It will arrive in Black, White, Mint and Lavender.

The mid-ranger will be available for purchase in Europe this June. There is no word yet on international pricing and availability.
