Southeast Asia's 1st Esports Hotel is now open in Malaysia

Calling all gamers looking for a new idea for a vacation since there's a new hotel purely focused on Esports gaming.

A super cool hotel for gaming enthusiasts

The SEM9 Senai Esports Hotel features luxurious rooms fitted with the latest technological facilities in gaming. This is situated in the town of Senai in Johor, Malaysia, and a three-minute walk from the Senai International Airport, to be exact.

Reportedly, the new hotel aims to introduce a new concept in the gaming and esports field. SEM9 Chairman Tommy Chieng added,

SEM9 Senai proffers the ultimate in comfort, marrying form and function to meet the toughest of needs of not just the best esports teams worldwide but also to cater to guests of all kinds with a bevy of gaming and non-gaming rooms.

According to the website, guests can enjoy an exceptional visual splendor of the game since the rooms are equipped with high-performance gaming computers powered by the latest Nvidia graphics, comfortable gaming chairs, and gaming peripherals. The hotel has 122 rooms, including non-gaming rooms.

The rooms are also equipped with gaming consoles

In addition to this, the whole hotel is said to have high-speed broadband and mobile internet access, be it via WiFi or cable. Those players into consoles may use the PlayStation 5 and DualSense wireless controllers in their own rooms.

The hotel also offers a SEM9 Senai's Merchandise Zone featuring exclusive SEM9 apparel esports team jerseys and collectibles.

Gaming room (Whole day stay) - Starts at RM 220 (or around PHP 2.6K)

Gaming room (Half-day stay) - Starts RM 115 (or around PHP 1.3K)

If you are interested in experiencing this, the gaming rooms are now available for booking, but they will be officially open on June 1, 2022. Gaming rooms are available to book in full or half days.
