What's new with iOS 16?
The company announced the iOS 16 features at its Worldwide Developers Conference virtual streaming event. WWDC22 runs from June 6-10. It also showcased a next-generation MacBook Air, powered by its brand-new M2 processor.

iOS 16 is a big release with updates that will change how you experience iPhone.
The first significant feature of iOS 16 is the ability to make new customizations to the Lock Screen. This one allows users to modify the date and time look with different type styles and color choices. They can also design multiple Lock Screen iterations and add widgets to provide quick access to upcoming calendar events, weather, battery levels, and alarms.
Moreover, the company also redesigned notifications to roll up from the bottom of the screen. In this way, iPhone users can enjoy having a clear view of their personalized Lock Screen.

The new OS will allow editing or recalling recently sent messages up to 15 minutes after sending them in messaging. It also retrieves recently deleted messages and marks conversations as unread so they can come back to them later.
Meanwhile, SharePlay also arrives in Messages that will allow content synchronization, such as TV shows, movies, or songs, with shared playback controls while chatting with others.
Another significant feature of the iOS 16 is the Safety Check. Apple claims this is designed for users "whose personal safety is at risk from domestic or intimate partner violence." It can instantly disable information-sharing access to specific users.
Safety Check is also equipped with an emergency reset command to allow them immediately sign out of iCloud on all their other devices. This will also reset privacy permissions and limit messaging to just the device in their physical possession.
Aside from providing new tools to people in immediate danger, Safety Check also is created to let users manage which people and apps they've given access to.
