Sony LinkBuds S with ANC is now available for pre-order in the Philippines
Nearly a month following its global introduction, Sony's more affordable TWS buds are now available for pre-order in the Philippines—the LinkBuds S.

It is the more affordable XM4!
To recap, the Sony LinkBuds S is the more budget-friendly version of its flagship WF-1000XM4. It even arrived with a similar but slightly different design to the XM4 in Black, White, and Ercu. The foam tips were replaced with silicone tips to probably help in keeping its cost down.

It is also made with recycled plastic parts from automobile parts and with zero plastic in individual packaging to help in saving the environment.
The buds also arrived with an IPX4 water splash resistance rating and each bud weighs just 4.8 grams.
For audio, the device arrived with 5mm drivers with support for Sony's LDAC lossless wireless audio codec and Hi-Res Audio certification. It even has the DSEE Extreme for upscaling compressed digital files in real-time.
To help you focus on whatever you are listening to, Sony also added ANC to block outside noise.
The buds also have the Adaptive Sound Control, Sony: Auto Play, Speak-to-Chat features, can also automatically adjust audio output volume and ANC sensitivity based on your environment to help users be aware of their surroundings, and Alexa support.
For battery, Sony claimed that the buds can last up to 6 hours of music playback on a single charge even with ANC turned on. Without ANC, they can last up to 9 hours and its users can enjoy up to 20 hours of total playback with the case.
The company also said that a 5-minute charge using the case is equal to 60 minutes of playtime.

The LinkBuds S is priced at PHP 10,999 in the Philippines. It is still on the pricier side of things. But, it is still 3,000 more affordable than the top-of-the-link XM4.
