New affordable Blade series?

Yesterday, ZTE launched the Axon 40 Ultra globally. Today, ZTE launches the new Blade A72 and Blade A52 in Malaysia. Inside both phones is the UNISOC SC9863A octa-core processor.

First up is the Blade A52 with 2GB RAM, 64GB of storage, and a 5,000mAh battery. In front is a 6.52-inch Full View HD+ Waterdrop display. Other features include a micro-USB port, 3.5mm audio jack, microSD card slot, and a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.

It measures 168 x 77.5 x 9.4 mm and weighs 213 grams. Lastly, it will come in either Space Gray or Silk Gold.

While the Blade A72 comes with 3GB + 2GB Fusion RAM, 64GB of storage, and a 6,000mAh battery that charges via USB-C.

Both phones share the same triple rear camera set-up of a 13MP primary camera, 2MP secondary camera, and 2MP tertiary camera with LED flash. Both also share the same 5MP front-facing camera.

Other features include a 3.5mm audio jack, microSD card slot, and side-mounted fingerprint scanner. It measures 168 x 77.5 x 9.4 mm and weighs 213.9 grams. Lastly, it will come in either Space Gray or Sky Blue.

Malaysia price with direct to PHP conversion (no taxes and duties yet):

ZTE Blade A52 - MYR 399 (around PHP 4.8K)
ZTE Blade A72 - MYR 499 (around PHP 6K)

There is no word yet on when the phone will be available in Malaysia. There is also no word yet on pricing and availability for international markets including the Philippines.
