Globe promotes responsible gaming!

Gaming has become a significant part of young people's lives today, that's according to Rina Siongco, Head of Get Entertained Tribe at Globe. And for this reason, Globe Games and Esports support this industry by emphasizing the benefits it can provide to its stakeholders.

She continued that through gaming, players can obtain analytical skills from strategy games, and improved communication, and coordination by playing with friends. Gamers can also learn how to multitask as well as perform management of time and finance more effectively with Esports.

Globe is also combining all of its efforts with the Game Well-Played campaign which also highlights the benefits of the said industry.

The telco company is taking this action as part of its campaign for responsible gaming and also in accordance with its commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals that fall under SDG No. 9, which also highlights the critical roles infrastructure and innovation play in driving economic growth and development.

While most campaigns focus on the hyper-competitive side of esports, Globe chooses to educate and advocate for the positives and benefits that gaming actually brings, Rina Siongco added

Apart from Globe's campaigns, the telco is also collaborating with partners such as AcadArena whose #NotJustPlay campaign Globe's concept.

Finally, the Globe Gamer Grounds platform was developed in collaboration with Telekom Malaysia and Swarmio Media to serve as a "gateway to good gaming." Its innovative products and tools enable all types of players to pursue sustainable and enjoyable gaming.
