GPD XP Plus w/ modular gamepads now available for pre-order in Data Blitz

Announced first in April 2022, the GPD XP Plus is now available for pre-order in the Philippines at DataBlitz.

To recap, the GPD XP Plus is an Android-powered handheld console with a "Switch-like" inspired design but the difference is that only the right side controller is detachable.

You can interchange with up to 3 types that are suitable on either FPS, MOBA, or the traditional Xbox layout.

Modular design for any type of game

The device uses a 6.8-inch LCD screen with FHD+ resolution, a 60Hz refresh rate, and is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 5.

Inside, it is powered with a 2021 flagship 6nm Dimensity 1200 with Mali-G77 MC9 GPU. It is paired with 6GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB or 256GB UFS 3.1 expandable storage.

It has a big-sized battery with 7,000mAh and charges using USB-C and a 30W PD adaptor.

Since this device's purpose is for gaming, it only has a 5MP selfie camera.

Other features are a built-in cooling system to prevent the device from heating, stereo speakers, and a built-in key mapper app for the Android games. Its USB-C can also work as DP 1.2 so that it can connect to big screens w/ up to 4K resolution. There's also a 3.5mm audio jack for your earphones.

Connectivity-wise, it is only limited to 4G LTE despite using a 5G SoC, there's also dual-band WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2 and GPS.

The GPD XP Plus runs Android 11 with a GPD Metro UI skin.
