The winners of vivo's first-ever short film contest
The piece that came on top is Paul Caisip's "The Social Experiment" which depicts how one should always practice honesty and integrity even if no one’s looking.
Meanwhile, Michael Golez's "Untitled" was awarded "The Best vivo Product Placement". It is a film that "redefined" the meaning of a masterpiece. Golez highlighted that his very own masterpiece is his life and the memories he makes with his loved ones apart from his artworks on a canvas. |

The Best Film was awarded the latest vivo X80. The best vivo Product Placement received a vivo Y21T while the People's Choice award winner got a vivo Y73.
I feel honored to be awarded as one of the winners of vivo 60-second film contest. It is my pleasure to share my film with vivo's audience. Truly, everyone can create their own masterpieces with minimal yet powerful equipment like the vivo X80 series that can capture professional-grade photos and videos. I hope the audience enjoyed my short film as much as I enjoyed filming it. May we all continue finding and owning our masterpieces even in mundane moments because where there is life and art, there lies a masterpiece, shares Michael Golez, the Best vivo Product Placement winner.
To recap, the film contest aimed to encourage aspiring Filipino filmmakers and enthusiasts to creatively capture "life's masterpieces around them" by just using a smartphone. The theme this year is "Own your Masterpiece" aiming to show the power of storytelling through films.
