IDC: Infinix records 320 percent year-on-year growth in PH (Q2 2022)

According to the latest rankings released by the technology industry analytics firm IDC, the company recorded a whopping 320 percent year-on-year (YoY) growth in the Philippine market in the second quarter of 2022.

The said growth also placed Infinix at number 3 in terms of market share and overall smartphone shipment in the country at 12.1 percent.

Infinix is also the reason why parent company Transsion Holdings with 16.8 percent of the pie achieve the number 2 ranking in the Philippines.

The company revealed that these impressive sales figures have been largely driven by the highly popular Infinix NOTE 12.

Infinix said in a press statement that this massive massive growth translated to 507,945 devices sold making it the fastest-growing mobile brand in the country.

To recap, the Infinix NOTE 12 is a powerful yet affordable gaming-focused smartphone boasting the 12nm MTK Helio G96 chip, 6.7-inch AMOLED panel, up to 13GB Extended RAM, up to 256GB storage, 5,000mAh battery, 33W Flash Charge, and 50MP main camera under PHP 10K.

Soon, Infinix teased that it will bring the NOTE 12 Pro 5G as well.
