Xiaomi outs a transparent rice cooker with 7 cooking modes!

The Mijia Transparent Steam Rice Cooker is one of the products Xiaomi unveiled during its launch conference. Aside from its transparent design, it boasts a 300-degree viewing window so the user can observe the cooking process.

Highlights of the Xiaomi MIJIA Transparent Steam Rice Cooker

On the top, the cooker sports an OLED screen to display information on recipes, cooking status, and others. Apparently, it has a thickened transparent glass liner that can hold up to 4L of food.

According to the source, the glass covering is made of tempered high borosilicate glass that can withstand extremes of temperature (hot or cold). Meanwhile, the interior of the steamer is made of food-contact standard stainless steel and with a steaming capacity of 1.6 liters.

Xiaomi claimed that this kitchen appliance can be used for steaming rice, stewing soup, cooking porridge, making yogurt, and slow cooking. 

Allegedly, this one offers long-lasting heat preservation and can be safely opened with the lid secured from the heat. Also, the inner cover and the bubble breaker of the steam cooker are easily detachable.

The transparent steam rice cooker has an interactive NFC and supports 24-hour smart appointments. It can also be used can be connected via the MIJIA app.
