ASUS ROG Phone 6D Ultimate w/ 165Hz AMOLED screen, MTK Dimensity 9000+ now in PH!

ASUS just announced the arrival of the ROG Phone 6D which features a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen with a 165Hz refresh rate and MTK Dimensity 9000+ SoC.

It packs a large AMOLED screen with a 165Hz refresh rate

The ROG Phone 6D Ultimate features a familiar premium build with its signature ROG aesthetic design in Space Gray. At the back, you get the horizontal camera island for the triple camera setup, the ROG Vision matrix color screen, and accent lines with a Teal shade. It also comes with 2x USB-C ports (1 at the bottom, 1 at the left side) and the AirTrigger 6 for added controls in games.

ASUS was also able to put in the new and improved GameCool 6 cooling system that features a 30 percent larger vapor chamber and 85 percent larger graphite sheet. The processor is also placed at the center of the device right where the new AeroActive Cooler 6 clips on. It also has a Boron Nitride Thermal compound for better heat dissipation.

In terms of the screen, it has a 6.78-inch Samsung E4 AMOLED screen with 2448 x 1080 FHD+ resolution, a 165Hz refresh rate, 1ms response time, Delta E <1 color accuracy, DC dimming, HDR10+ support, Samsung Eye Care, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. The device also comes with front-facing stereo speakers with Dirac HD audio for better immersion.

Inside, the ROG Phone 6D Ultimate features 3.05GHz 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ octa-core processor, Mali-G710 MC10 GPU, 16GB LPDDR5X RAM, 512GB UFS 3.1 storage, and a 6,000mAh battery with 65W PD 3.0 fast charging. The CPU and GPU come with MediaTek's HyperEngine 5.0 which features AI-assisted Variable Rate Shading, Frame Rate Smoother technology, and Smart Resource Optimization.

The ASUS Armoury Crate app also adds more functionality such as changing performance mode between X Mode for max performance, Dynamic for a balanced mode, and Ultra Durable for a more battery-friendly mode.

50MP main camera!

The cameras has features a triple-sensor array with  50MP f/1.9 1/1.56-inch Sony IMX766 + 13MP f/2.4 ultra-wide-angle + 5MP macro + LED flash. It also has a 12MP selfie camera.

Other features include an In-Display fingerprint sensor, WiFi 6E, 5G, and 4G LTE. Bluetooth 5.3, and compatibility with ASUS ROG accessories.
