Redmi Note 12 Pro and Note 12 Discovery Edition launched w/ Dimensity 1080, up to 210W fast charging!
Redmi launches the Note 12 series last night in China. The ones we will talk about here will be the Pro and Discovery Edition.

New Dimensity chip and 210W charging by Redmi!
Both of them carry the new 6nm Dimensity 1080 processor with clock speeds up to 2.6GHz and a Mali-G68 MP4 GPU.
Another thing worth your attention will be the use of a 210W fast charger for the Discovery edition with a 4,300mAh battery which the brand claims to fully charge the device within 9 minutes only.

The rest of the details are identical to the Pro+ version such as the 6.67-inch 120Hz FHD+ OLED with Dolby Vision, and HDR10+ support. While the internals will be 8GB RAM and 256GB UFS 2.2 storage. Another similar detail will be the 200MP primary sensor, 8MP ultrawide, and 2MP for macro.

Meanwhile, the Redmi Note 12 Pro on the other hand has the same screen hardware but will have three storage options between 6, 8, or 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB or 256GB UFS 2.2 storage
Another difference will be the 5,000mAh battery which charges using a 67W fast charger and a USB-C.
The cameras will be 50MP Sony IMX766 with OIS for the primary sensor, accompanied by 8MP ultrawide and 2MP macro shooter.
For selfies, both devices share a 16MP wide shooter.
Other features mentioned are an IP53 rating for dust and water resistance, stereo speakers, a 3.5mm audio jack, and an under-screen fingerprint scanner.
Connectivity features have resemblance as well such as the 5G, 4G LTE, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, NFC, and dual SIM (nano) support.
For OS, they run Android 12 with MIUI 13 skin on top.

Redmi Note 12 Discovery Edition - CNY 2,399 (around PHP 19.1K)
All models will go on sale this October 31st, 2022 in China. There is no word yet on Philippine or International availability and pricing.
