TECNO POVA 4 Pro announced with 90Hz AMOLED, 45W fast charging

A new smartphone joins the POVA series called TECNO POVA 4 Pro which comes with significant changes.

The phone's design

TECNO POVA 4 Pro now has an AMOLED screen and fast charging!

As one of its main highlights, it now carries an AMOLED screen. Normally you'd only see an LCD panel on a POVA series handset so this will be a noticeable upgrade by TECNO. 

Another highlight will be the use of a multilayer graphite cooling system to lower the temperature and higher wattage of charging which is now upped to 45W and even 10W reverse wireless charging.

The rest of the specs

The phone comes in two colorways of either Blue or Grey and has a dimension measurement of 164.79 x 77 x 9.19mm.

The rest of the screen details are 6.6-inch size with FHD+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate.

Inside, it uses the new 6nm 2.2GHz MediaTek Helio G99 octa-core processor with Mali G57 MC2 GPU. The chipset is accompanied by 8GB RAM and 256GB storage.

One of the POVA smartphone's trademarks will be a huge battery. This one has it too with the 6,000mAh size.

For the camera, it uses a 50MP shooter for the main and an AI sensor for the secondary camera. It also has a dual-LED flash at the rear while the selfie shooter uses 8MP with a single-LED flash.

Other features mentioned are the dual stereo speakers with DTS Sound and Hi-Res Audio certification. It also has a side-mounted fingerprint reader, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a z-axis linear vibration motor for an immersive feel.

For connectivity, it has 4G LTE, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth, GNSS, NFC, and dual-SIM support.

The device runs Android 12 with HiOS and software features such as Panther Engine 2.0 and Game Space 2.0.

Currently, it is only available in Bangladesh. We have to hear from TECNO yet if this will come to the Philippine market. Stay tuned.
