China-based global tech giant HUAWEI today launched the 2022 edition of the MateBook D 15 in the Philippines.

The new MateBook D 15 2022 features an aluminum alloy (metal) body, a 15.6-inch LCD (IPS) screen with FHD resolution, anti-glare, and TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light and Flicker Free certifications.

Inside, the device is still using the 10nm 11th Gen Intel Core i5-1135G7 processor, Intel Iris Xe Graphics, 8GB DDR4 RAM, 512GB NVMe PCle SSD storage, and a 56WHr battery with USB-C 65W SuperCharge brick. Last year, the MateBook D 15 2021 only has a 42WHr battery.

The device also has a 720p HD Recessed Camera, power button/fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers, 0.2mm Shark fin fan, and Dual Antenna WiFi 6.

It runs with Windows 11 OS with HUAWEI Super Device with Multi-Screen Collaboration allowing up to three active windows. It also has an Fn+P  Performance Mode shortcut.
