Infinix ZERO 5G 2023 with Dimensity 1080 and 50MP cam silently revealed!
The ZERO 5G is one of the most attractive and affordable 5G phones of Infinix this 2022 for us. Soon, they will launch an upgraded version of the said device, the ZERO 5G 2023.

Infinix uploaded the design and specs of the ZERO 5G 2023 earlier. But as of writing, they already took down the information page of the phone. So likely, they uploaded the details by mistake.
By the way, we were still able to access its specs page (maybe they forgot to take it down), and here's what we discovered...

The major upgrade here is it now comes with the 2.6GHz 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 1080 octa-core processor with Mali-G68 MC4 GPU instead of Dimensity 920. This 5G-ready chip has 2x Cortex-A78 cores up to 2.6GHz, 6x Cortex-A55 cores up to 2.0GHz, a multi-core AI processing unit, and up to 200MP camera support.
According to Infinix, this phone has up to a 10 percent increase in overall performance coming from the first ZERO 5G.
The company also upgraded its storage to 256GB from 128GB. The RAM is still at 8GB, but the Extended RAM tech is now up to 5GB for 13GB of total RAM.
The battery is also the same at 5,000mAh, but the company claims that it now has up to 32.3 hours of 5G calls.
The main camera was upgraded to a 50MP unit from 48MP as well. However, the 13MP Portrait lens was removed in favor of a 2MP macro camera that you will likely never use.
