What dominated PH Google searches in 2022

Google just released its Year in Search 2022 report that summarizes the most searched topics in the past year.

"Halalan 2022" tops Google’s list of most searched topics

According to Google's report, "Halalan 2022" or the May 9 elections topped the Overall Top Trending Searches in the country.

Filipinos searched for information regarding the 2022 national elections from how to find their precincts, voting resources, and results, Google said, according to a CNN Philippines report.

"Halalan 2022" also topped the list of the most searched news items in the Philippines.

In both lists, "VaxCertPh" and "precinct finder" landed second and third, respectively.

VaxCertPh also made it to the overall top searches last year at number 4.
