OPPO just announced their latest flagship foldable called the Find N2 and Find N2 Flip.
Starting with Find N2, the phone highlights a similar approach to its predecessor. First, it appears with a 5.54-inch outer display but if you will open it, the device expands to a 7.1-inch tablet (inner screen). Unlike other foldable phones, it has a less visible crease.
The outer display has a resolution of 2120 x 1080 with 1,350 nits peak brightness while the inner display has a 1792 x 1920 resolution and 1,550 nits max brightness. Both have a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, but the tablet mode has a 240Hz touch sampling rate. They also support DCI-P3, 100 percent sRGB color gamut, UTG, and Gorilla Glass Victus protection, respectively.
Inside, it is using 4nm 3.2GHz Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 octa-core chipset with next-gen Adreno GPU.
It is paired with 12GB/16GB LPPDDR5 RAM and 256GB/512GB UFS 3.1 storage.
For the battery, it has 4,520mAh that charges using USB-C 67W SUPERVOOC 2.0 fast charging. However, there's no wireless charging, unlike the one with the Find N.
The phone is equipped with a 50MP Sony IMX890 primary sensor, 48MP Sony IMX581 ultra-wide cam, and 32MP Sony IMX709 RGBW 2x telephoto sensor. For selfies, there's a 32MP shooter. The cameras also use the MariSilicon X NPU and Hasselblad tuning.
Up next will be the Find N2 Flip. This one uses a clamshell-type design and appears in Black, Gold, and Purple colorways.
The smaller screen on the outside has 3.26-inch in size and uses an AMOLED panel. While flipping it up you will be greeted with a 6.8-inch Samsung E6 AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, and 1600 nits peak brightness. OPPO also claims that they are using a new drop-shaped hinge which is less noticeable.
Inside, OPPO opted to use the 4nm 3.2GHz MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ with Mali-G710 MC10 GPU. It is also paired with up to 16GB RAM and up to 512GB UFS 3.1 storage while the battery has 4,300mAh with 44W USB-C fast charging.
For cameras, it uses a 50MP IMX890 sensor, but the ultrawide shooter is toned down to 8MP. While the selfie shooter uses 32MP RGBW IMX709.
Both foldable have side-mounted fingerprint readers, stereo speakers with Dolby audio, 5G, 4G, dual-band WiFi, GPS, and NFC.
For OS, both devices run Android 13 with ColorOS 13 skin.
