The Chinese tech giant also announced the Xiaomi 13, the vanilla version of the series.
Xiaomi 13 highlights a slim and compact design and appears in different colorways such as Black, Light Green, Light Blue (leather), Gray, White, Red, Yellow, Green, and Blue.
Unlike the Pro version, it uses a smaller 6.36-inch E6 AMOLED panel with FHD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, Dolby Vision, 20:9 aspect ratio, HDR10+, and 1,900 nits max brightness.
Inside it uses the 4nm 3.19GHz Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 octa-core processor with New Adreno GPU. It is paired with 8GB/12GB LPDDR5X RAM and storage options of either 128GB,256GB, or 512GB UFS 4.0.
On the battery side, it uses the same as its predecessor with 4,500mAh and charges using a 67W fast charging adapter and USB-C. Meanwhile, it also has wireless charging capabilities at 50W and 10W for reverse.
For cameras, Xiaomi 13 uses Leica-tuned sensors such as 50MP f/1.8 Sony IMX800 Hyper OIS, 12MP f/2.2 120-degree ultrawide sensor, and 10MP f/2.0 3.2x telephoto shooter with OIS, 8K video recording. The phone also uses 32MP f/2.0 for the front-facing camera.
Other features noted are Dolby Atmos stereo speakers with Dolby tracking, an IR blaster, IP68 rating for water and dust protection.
Connectivity-wise, it has 5G, 4G LTE, WiFi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, NFC, and dual SIM support.
For the software, the phone runs Android 13 with MIUI 14 skin.

The Xiaomi 13 pro is now up for pre-order in China. While the shipments begin on December 14. However, we still have no word yet for its PH availability.
