In China, Redmi unveils the new Redmi 12C which comes with a large battery, a headphone jack, and a MediaTek 12nm SoC.

New year, new Redmi!
Redmi kicks off the new year with the affordable Redmi 12C. It features a 6.71-inch HD+ display with a 1650 x 720 resolution.
Inside is the 12nm MediaTek Helio G85 octa-core processor, Mali-G52 2EEMC2 GPU, 4GB/6GB LPDDR4X RAM, 64GB/128GB eMMC 5.1 internal storage, microSD card expansion, and a 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging.
At the back are the 50MP f/1.8 primary camera and 2MP f/2.4 depth sensor while in front is a 5MP selfie camera.
Other features include a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, 3.5mm audio jack, Dual VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, GLONASS, and FM Radio.
It measures 168.76 x 76.41 x 8.77mm and weighs 192 grams.
The phone comes in either Shadow Black, Dark Blue, Mint Green, or Lavender colorways.

The phone is now on sale in China. There is no word yet on International pricing and availability.
