What else could there be?

Several leaks have given us an idea of what to expect from the upcoming Unpacked where the next Galaxy S series smartphones are expected to be announced on February 1.

Allegedly, the Galaxy S23 and S23+ will have near identical visuals with an updated rounded design but will differ in screen size, storage, battery capacity and charging speed.

The table from WinFuture's source claims that the new smartphones will come with Android 13-based Samsung One UI 5.1. Inside is the 4nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen2 octa-core processor, and 8GB of RAM. Both smartphones will come with a 12MP f/2.2 front-facing camera with HDR10+, an Ultrasonic In-display fingerprint scanner, an Ultrawideband chip, Bluetooth 5.3, USB-C, NFC GPS, GLONASS, and WiFi 6E.

The two models will also come with IP68 Water and Dust resistance, dual Nano-SIM support, Stereo speakers, Dolby atmos support, Wireless PowerShare and DeX.

At the back of the two phones are a 50MP f/1.8 primary camera with OIS, a 12MP f/2.2 120-degree ultra-wide angle camera, and a 10MP f/2.4 3x telephoto camera with an LED flash.

The smaller Galaxy S23 is expected to come with a 6.1-inch Infinity-O Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen with a 2340 x 1080 resolution, HDR10+ support and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 support. Inside are either 128GB/256GB of storage and a 3,900mAh battery with 25W fast wired charging and 10W wireless charging. It will measure 146.3 x 70.9 x 7.6mm and weigh 167 grams.

While the bigger Galaxy S23+ will come with a larger 6.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X Infinity-O display with a 2340 x 1080 resolution, HDR10+ support and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. Inside are 256GB/512GB of storage and a 4,700mAh battery with 45W fast wired charging and 10W wireless charging. It will measure 157.8 x 76.2 x 7.6mm and weigh 195 grams.

Both phones will come in either Black, Cotton, Green and Violet colorways.

Lastly, WinFuture's source expects the phone to be available in Germany on February 1, 2023.

Take this information with a grain of salt until Samsung's official announcement this coming February 1, 2023.

There is no word yet on Philippine pricing and availability.
